Feeling like you need a little motivation or a quick tip to get you going. Each week, and between full episodes, I will share short clips on a certain topic. This is a great way to get inspired for the day. Enjoy this quick burst of motivation. You'll find that sometimes I will record this and it sounds a little bit different because I get inspired. I'm in my garage because I'm working out or I'm in the house and I'm like, okay, I need to write this down, but because I have a podcast now, I'm like, okay, I need to record this. So I want to talk about accountability today and I haven't mentioned this many times before. But just the importance of accountability is it's one of those things that really you can apply to anything in your life. I applied it when I wanted to start creating healthy habits and it was one of the biggest things that helped me stay consistent. And when you're trying to kind of do this on your own, anything on your own that you want to accomplish, it's really hard to do because we get in our heads, we start to convince ourselves not to do something or we just kind of play small. But when you have someone or a group of people that are kind of going along the journey with you, that can keep you accountable. It makes such a huge difference. It's like you can't hide right and I think one of the main things and the reason that this works is because you don't want to let other people down, like we have no problem letting ourselves down, sadly, but we don't want to let other people down and we don't want to feel the shame of telling someone else or showing someone else that we didn't really do anything. Now, there can be unhealthy to think this way and of course we could change our perspective and kind of flip that and create a new story that will actually help us. But just having other people around us that can relate to us and that can give us that little push with love, to keep striving and to keep moving forward and to really kind of reach for our dreams, I mean it makes a world of difference. So if you're ever trying to accomplish something, find someone or a group of people who are kind of going along that same route, that can cheer you on, that can help you, that can help you when you're stuck and can motivate you to keep moving forward.
