So today I want to talk to you about how to start living your best life, and I have three simple not easy, but simple ways you can actually start doing that Now. These are the ways that I found to help me when I was really struggling, but, of course, this is not the end. I'll be all. Everybody defines their best life the way they want to, but I found that these three ways, or three areas that I approached improving my life, to be just really great starting points, and they are three principles that I continue to work on as my life changes and I go through seasons. I'll go over these three tips, but I have an entire ebook that goes into more depth into my story and how these areas really became a focus in my life and how that helped me start truly living my best life. So tip number one is about health. I started to focus on my health and these were the things that I did that really helped me with my health this time, because I was trying to do that for many years and it just wasn't working out for me. But I was missing some components to this. So one of the areas was that I committed to a system, so I wasn't just going to the gym just to do something random, like get on the treadmill or just try different machines that I had no idea how to use them or what they were even doing, what muscles they were working, so there was no rhyme or reason with what I was trying to do. So what I did was I committed to a system that was intentional and it focused on the areas that I wanted to focus on. So if I wanted to work on my cardio, then there was a specific program that I did for a certain period of time and then if I wanted to work on muscle strength, then I would find a workout program that was specific to that and there was a time limit or a deadline. Basically there was either six weeks or eight weeks or 90 days, whatever that was. And the reason I found this to work for me was, first off, it was intentional and second, it was something that I could change because there was a limit to it. So if I was weight training for 90 days, then my next thing would be something related to cardio. Maybe it was running, but it kept my body from adapting, because that's what our bodies tend to do. We'll adapt to whatever you throw at them. So if you're constantly doing cardio and you find that your body isn't changing or you're not seeing results, it's because your body has adapted to that modality, because your body's like okay, we are now trying to balance things out. We know what you're doing here, so we're going to stay even. We need to find that equilibrium. So your body's not going to. You're not going to see many changes in your body, so you have to change things up. So that's what I found to work for me. Plus, it kept me from getting bored, so I was getting excited when I was starting a new workout program. So committing to a particular system really worked for me. And then the other thing is I created a lifestyle. I had to find what was sustainable for me and stick with that, and the other thing was that I was celebrating my wins, no matter how small or how big they were. I really had to learn to embrace how hard this was going to be, how hard this journey was going to be. That change is not easy, but I really had to pat myself on the back when I would do certain things. If I was consistent with something, then I would make sure that I would acknowledge that and see how far I came. I would look back to how hard it was in the moment, but I did it. I did it anyway. My next tip is having a growth mindset. So you're probably like, oh my God, this woman just talks about mindset. Yes, I'm always going to talk about mindset because it's so important. I mean, this has been the one thing that you know I continue to work on. I haven't mastered this, but it is understanding that we have the solutions to our problems living inside of us, like I can create the life that I want by focusing on the thoughts that really elevate me, that remind me that I am worthy. So doing this, along with the health, was something that I didn't have before and that I couldn't even imagine would transform my life the way that it did. But, just like with health, I have to be consistent with it. So how do you stay consistent with a growth mindset or work on your mindset? So you have to have some type of daily ritual or daily routine that's going to give you the ability to continue to grow, to continue to learn and to continue to remind yourself of all your hard work that it's gonna pay off. So my next tip is fulfillment. How can I serve other people? How can I make an impact? How can I make a difference in other people's lives? I think at the root of human desire, it's impact. How can I, through my actions and through the transformation that I've had, how can I change other people's lives? And I think this comes in many different ways. It's just about being part of something bigger than yourself. So those are my main three tips that I can give you if you wanna start living your best life. And, like I said, I have an ebook that goes over this in more depth, and there's also some areas where you can ask yourself some questions to evaluate where you currently are, so you can see where you can get started. So maybe health is the area that you really need to focus on. So one of the questions is are you committed to a system? Do you have a way to know what you need to do daily? Do you have specific goals? Do you have accountability? So you can answer some of these questions and then that will give you a better understanding of where what you need to focus on, like what areas you need to focus on most. So I hope that'll give you some direction to get started. So I also added a daily routine checklist. I put together three or four things that I did in the morning and the afternoon and in the evening. That kind of really helped me start off really well, keep the day going well and end the day well. This is not an extensive list. This is just a few little bullet points that I found really helpful that you can start doing right now. So I will link to the ebook and the show notes and you can print it out and answer some of the questions and print out the daily checklist. So I hope these tips were helpful for you and I really hope that they can inspire you to truly start living your best life. All right, take care and I will see you next week.
